First, a little bit about me.

I am a baby boomer and loving it! 

And while I am a boomer, I am not your typical "afraid of technology" type boomer.  Far from it!

The basic nature of 1 and 2 up programs is that a new affiliate must first “pass up” the first and/or second sale (and new affiliate) to their sponsor.

This “qualification process" is designed to provide “leverage” to the compensation plan.

By leverage I mean that you as an affiliate will earn income over and beyond that which you would make on just your own efforts.

You will in fact earn income based on the efforts of your personally sponsored affiliates.

1 and 2 up programs create leverage by passing all or most of the commission on a new affiliate’s sales to their sponsor. In addition, the actual “new” affiliate your marketing dollars brought into the program will also be “passed up” so any new sales they have will also go to your sponsor.

This qualification process creates two HUGE problems:

  1. Most people starting a home based business have a limited marketing budget.  With 1 and 2 up programs, YOUR FIRST 2 SALES - which could otherwise have funded MORE advertising to build Your Business - is now going to your sponsor.  Your advertising dollars are paying for your sponsor’s success - NOT YOURS!

  2. Once you have qualified, your sponsor will never again earn any income from your efforts.  In fact, once you are qualified you’re now your sponsor’s worst nightmare - a trained competitor!  Do you really think your sponsor is going to "give" you, a future competitor - all their secrets to marketing online - Not Likely!  They have no financial motivation to continue to teach, coach and assist you in your brand new business.

    Morally they may feel an obligation, but financially they are motivated NOT to help you.

A compensation plan that is NOT congruent with human nature will always fail.
